Tool or Intelligent Agent?
There are different perspectives in different disciplines (well, duh!).For instance, cognitive scientists recognise computers as artificial intelligent agents in comparison to humans or animals, which are natural intelligent agents. Yet, architects and designers consider computers merely as tools and humans or animals as users. This is odd since one would expect designers who utilise computers in their design processes to have better understanding of computers and computer related processes.

Why am I writing this blog?
As I am jumping to the huge blog train today with countless other people, I feel it is necessary to express my intention in doing so…, firstly to myself as a reminder, secondly as an explanation to the reader: choo choo. ¶ For me, this blog is a way to stay creative and active. I am hoping to be frequent in providing content. I am also hoping to have a discussion domain in which I can interact with the reader and adjust my opinions through.
